Dreams of DrowningDREAMS OF DROWNING

I've drowned and died a thousand deaths
Climbed a thousand mountains.

Flown through skies, heard and spoke lies
And laughed a thousand laughs.

I've fought for breath, though praying for death
And floated on the tide.

Shed and dried tears, faced a thousand fears
And still heard others cries.

And while my body's been bruised
And I have shed blood from my eyes.

I've sang for truth
And reached for ETERNITY.

In the dead of night with tear stained eyes,
She watches shadows dancing on the walls.
The shadows of her life she has come to call them.
No longer cast by passing cars,
They are now her concorts.

In the dead of night with tear stained eyes,
Her story - the tearful lady tells.
No ears the story reaches.
Only the shadows dancing on the walls,
The shadows of her life.

Spirit Dancer
SPIRIT DANCER

I feel my spirit is swirling, swirling, swirling
Swirling right through me - reaching out.

Swirling in slow motion
Like a mist around the trees -reaching out
Dancing to your soft delicate whisper moving from the sleeping shadows.

Moving in soft slow motion
Urging me towards the icy lake
I see the frozen water sparkling like diamonds.

The whisper grows stronger, then fades
Then louder, then once again fading back to the sound of a whisper.

My spirit above me - reaching higher
Dancing to your voice
Your voice from the shadows.

A familiar sound, the sound of your soul
Drawing me to the shadows and towards the lake
